From the very first moment, the contact with Roxanne was incredibly pleasant. She responded quickly to my message asking whether she could do the makeup for my wedding. For the trial session, she welcomed me into her cozy home in The Hague, where she has a separate space set up for her work. What I found especially thoughtful was that she even prepared a little cake and a drink to celebrate the fact that I was getting married, so sweet and personal!

During the trial session, I immediately felt at ease with her. You spend quite some time together on such a day, so that felt really nice. Roxanne also emphasized that I could say anything to her (whether I liked something or not), which made the whole experience very relaxed. She listened carefully to my wishes and thought along with me. I had brought some inspiration pictures from Pinterest, and she translated them perfectly into a makeup style that truly suited me.

On the wedding day itself, Roxanne arrived well ahead of time, which immediately gave a sense of calm. She not only did my makeup beautifully, but also my mother’s and my sister’s, each exactly as they wanted. We received many compliments on how beautiful and natural the makeup looked. Despite a few tears, everything stayed perfectly in place all day; I didn’t even need a touch-up.
